ALPINE CONTINUES ITS WORLD TOUR!
After two European Champion titles in 2013 and 2014 thanks to their Alpine A450, Signatech-Alpine, shows its professionalism and performance to get the title of world champion in its category in 2016.
Alpine A460
1955. Jean Rédéle founded the Alpine Automobiles Company and produced his first series models
1962. He started the production of a car to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans
1963. Three Alpines cars are lined up on the start point. The cars win no victories in this edition but Jean Rédéle succeeded to draw attention. The then adventure begins
1965. A first scratch victory is signed by Mauro and Lucien Bianchi at the Nürburgring 500 kilometers with the M65
1973. Renault takes control of Alpine. The A440 is shown off under the name "Renault Alpine".
1974. The Renault Alpine A440 gets refined and becomes A441. It goes victories after victories and wins the European title.
1978. Four cars are lined up on the start point and the Alpine A442B is driven by the veteran Jean-Pierre Jaussaud (41) and the young man Didier Pironi (26)!
Thirty-five years later, Alpine returned to the competition in order to accompany the brand's revival. Reinforcing the ingenious frugality dear to Jean Rédéle, the new Alpine A450 is illustrated with a double European Endurance Champion title in 2013 and 2014.
